Pulse Underwear is one of my favorite new underwear lines taking a solid lead among the growing number of “3^rd generation” underwear manufacturers that specialize in unique fabrics, solid construction and fun cuts. These low-rise squarecut-style trunks are one of the signature core designs in the pulse underwear collection and are offered in a variety of colors and fabrics. Pulse underwear  often includes a drawstring which is reminiscent of swimwear although don’t let that confuse you since these are definitely underwear made from a very nice medium-weight cotton with just the right amount of stretch. The pouch design on these Pulse squarecuts is just the right size and is less daring than the swing pouch on the mesh lines, somewhat similar to the unico pouch with a good balance between comfort and lift. Nearly all my Pulse underwear purchases have turned out to be true to size and these are no exception, in a medium they fit just right although keep in mind these are not meant to be loose-fitting trunks, they are definitely form-fitting. Probably one of the more unusual design aspects of these underwear trunks is the extremely high cut back which creates the look of a brief while still maintaining the boxcut design of a trunk in the front.

Fit:	A	Overall good fit that is true to size and the pouch shape is comfortable for all-day wearing.
Design:	A	The variety of colors and fabrics available, the contrast stitching and the drawstring all contribute to a nice masculine design that is still fun and unique.
Material:	A	The cotton material is comfortable and stretches just the right amount without losing its shape.
Construction:	A	Great quality, durable construction and clean seams contribute to a high grade.
Overall Grade:	A
Would I buy another pair? Yes, I own several pairs of these style squarecuts in the various colors in cotton and bamboo.
