It might be a bit unusual to review long john underwear in the summer but it’s always cold somewhere in the world. I don’t usually wear long underwear as my preference is for more form fitting underwear with less coverage but these Unicos are different from traditional long johns and I wanted to try them out for a little underwear variety. The cotton material is softer than traditional Unico blends and is cut in a slightly looser fit but still remains relatively form fitting. As with all Unico underwear you should always order up a size. The pouch is single-layer and cut just like the traditional Unico suspensor design which has just the right amount of lift provided by elastic sewn into the edges to create a defining profile. The wide vertical rib fabric on the legs wraps from the front to the back. The pouch and leg interiors are made from a smooth cotton which creates a nice visual contrast in texture and is sewn with flat seams to the ribbed material. The leg length is good for taller men and at the ankles ends in a substantial cuff that keeps the fabric from bunching up and is not too tight. The waistband is the traditional Unico style with contrast lettering, is approximately 1” in height and although it could be a little softer, is still very comfortable and not too tight.

Design:	A	Unico has put in some very nice design touches with the contrast rib cotton and suspensor pouch that do a lot to redefine the category of boring long underwear.
Material:	A	The cotton material is comfortable and has the right amount of stretch to it.
Construction:	A	Excellent construction quality on these long johns makes the investment on them worthwhile.
Overall Grade:	A	Straight "A"s across the board mean I was happy with my purchase and can recommend this style for other people as well.
Would I buy another pair? Yes, of the three styles of long johns I have tried (Unico, Play and DKNY) I would rank these as the top winner in this selective category.
