Djimon Hounsou for Calvin Klein Steel Underwear
I thought I would highlight these recent photos from Calvin Klein’s upcoming fall campaign for their new Steel Line featuring model/actor Djimon Hounsou. This was a great move for Calvin Klein to break the mold and feature a person of color for a major high profile campaign. Djimon originally hails from the Republic of Benin which is a small country in Western Africa. Born April 24th, 1964, Djimon lived on the streets of Paris as a young boy before being discovered and featured as a model which led to acting. Some of the films he has appeared in include Stargate, Amistad, Gladiator, Constantine, The Island and Blood Diamond. Djimon has also appeared as a variety of characters on television series including ER and Alias.
