Site Restructuring and new Wear Recommendations section
Future site changes and latest updates

Hello readers, just some house-keeping notes to cover in-between the underwear reviews and news. I’m aware that the single-page approach that I’m employing for the blog is getting kind of unwieldy very fast as more content is published over time. It’s not best practice from a browser-loading perspective and it starts to make for a lot of page scrolling as well. To remedy that I’m adding additional content tags to the reviews and will then be able to create index pages for each style which will then be linked on the sidebar so you can access reviews by style category rather than chronological order. That may take a little bit longer but hopefully within the next week or so I’ll have that update.

The other significant site content update that you may have noticed is the new “Wear Recommendations” table that I’ve been adding to each review and slowly going backwards retroactively to update previous reviews as well. I think the concept is fairly straight-forward but basically I’ve divided the kinds of activities you might wear underwear for into 7 categories and then provided a note for each category. I want to emphasize that this is a very subjective part of the review since what I might consider “loungewear” could have a very different definition for others so consider it my own recommendation and let yourself make up your mind from there. It’s also important to note that this section does not reflect necessarily good or bad aspects of each underwear item. Some underwear like the Intimo Velvet Thong is clearly not intended for business office wear so I didn’t suggest if for that activity but it seemed very appropriate for bedroom wear. Of course if you’re interested in the personal style choice of wearing a velvet thong under a suit than more power to you! I’m just suggesting that the material, cut and design intent from the manufacture would indicate certain activities are more likely work well over others.

The icon recommendations break down like this:

Particularly well-suited Works well Could Work Not recommended

If nothing else I have found it an interesting way to think about the underwear from a function perspective that is separate from the other grading categories used in the review.

I also wanted to mention that I have fallen behind on some specific review requests including the Male Power Thong and Life Underwear Sculptured Pouch Brief but I've got the thong on order from MensUnderwearStore.com and will hopefully pick up the Life Underwear today or tomorrow for a future review.
