I thought it was long overdue I review some of the core staples of the C-In2 line given that I keep mentioning how much I like their underwear and yet I haven't reviewed very many of their items. This review covers the classic C-In2 thong which has been a core offering since the inception of the line. As a core item, this thong is only available in white, gray or black in 100% cotton fabric with the classic microfiber C-In2 waistband. I have found the sizing of C-In2 underwear to be very consistent and this thong in my usual medium fit well with the a good waist measure and an appropriate cut on the strap lengths for the back. The waistband is just a hair over 1 1/4" tall with large C-In2 logos woven in gray over white and repeated all the way around. The waistband itself is fairly thick with a very soft brushed texture that feels great while wearing through all sorts of activities. Over time the interior of C-In2 waistbands get a little roughened up through wash and dry cycles with some "pilling" but they remain comfortable and in good form regardless. On the center-back interior of the waistband you will find the classic C-In2 logo tag which measures 1 1/2" wide by 1" tall with several layers of fabric tags folded over and attached on the right. There does seem to be an abundance of tags here with a full tag containing nothing but multi-lingual translations of the wash instructions but luckily the material is high quality, soft and not overly intrusive.

2Xist was one of the first if not the first underwear designers to introduce the y-back design for a men's thong and not surprisingly given that C-In2 was founded by former 2Xist leadership, this thong also includes a y-back design. The y straps are slightly under 1" in width which makes for a sporty look and a durable design that holds up well over time. The straps are a very soft elastic that has been texturized for softness and join to a 1/4" wide strap that connects to the base of the pouch. For anyone who's not a regular thong wearer because you don't like the feel of the back straps you will find these could be a good introduction as the y-back design reduces the amount of material you will feel and helps make these a good choice for all-day wear. If there's one area that I was a little disappointed on this thong it was the front pouch fabric choice. I'm not sure why in a thong design it seems to be an automatic decision to go down to a single-layer of material as is the case with this thong. The single-layer choice might not have been notable except for the fact that the cotton is fairly thin and thus doesn't feel as durable as I would have liked. The pouch design itself supports well while still defining a good outline and shape for your package. There is 1/2" wide edge binding on the sides of the pouch which reinforce the fit and durability of the construction.

The Grades:

Fit:	A	I was pleased with the fit of this thong with consistent sizing, the nice y-back design and the good pouch that balances room vs. lift well.	Pouch Fit
Design:	A-	Some color choices would be nice given that C-In2 has offered all of their other cuts in colors including the jock but as a classic white thong I felt the design was masculine, sporty and executed well.
Material:	B+	I think this thong would have benefited from a thicker cotton fabric so I'm going with a slightly lowered score here.
Construction:	A+	I was very pleased with the construction quality of this thong with all the strap joints solidly attached with strong stitching and clean fabric cuts all-around.
Overall Grade:	A-	This may not be the perfect thong but it comes pretty darn close and I would say this is a very strong core offering from C-In2 Underwear.
Would I buy another pair? Yes, I would definitely consider purchasing another pair. More color options would really motivate me to purchase more but until then I might add the black or gray options at least.
