It has been interesting to observe the rapid evolution of Obviously Underwear's designs from the original full-rise brief and boxerbrief to the low-rise line which also introduced thongs and jocks and now the latest Sinuous range which introduces new colors and screen-printed graphics into the mix. The cuts for the sinuous range are based on the previous low-rise line with a low rise trunk, low rise brief, sport brief, jockstrap and thong available in eye-catching brown, turquoise and green colors. The waistband has been updated for a third time on this Obvious range with a new very soft and stretchable microfiber blend which feels great. The waistband measures a substantial 1 1/2" tall and includes bold "Obviously" logo text repeated in black against white all the way around the waist. The interior-back of the waistband has a very meticulously sewn seam which is surprisingly flat and not covered by a tag. The size/care information for this brief is not located on a fabric tag but is instead a small 7/8" wide by 1 1/8" tall heat-fused plastic patch in dark gray. I have found the sizing of Obviously Underwear to be accurate with mediums fitting well across all the cuts.
Since its inception, the fabric for Obviously underwear has been a premium micromodal lycra blend. The fabric is very soft and highly stretchable with a light weight. The back of this low rise brief is full coverage with a screen printed white "sinuous" graphic that is accomplished with a stretchable plastic-like fabric ink. The edges of the legs on this brief are reinforced with fully-covered 1/4" elastic which does a good job of keeping things in place through all activities. The sides of this brief are slim, narrowing down to 1" below the edge of the waistband. One of the major signatures for Obviously Underwear is its anatomic pouch design. The pouch for Obviously Underwear is aggressively designed with a deep scoop shape that intentionally does not lift or shape and instead is meant to operate more like a "sock". If you like extra room up front this is a good design for you but if you like more lift and enhancement you may not like the loose feeling the generously sized pouch provides. The pouch is single-layer fabric which leaves for some noticeable outlines so modesty (or the lack thereof) might be a consideration.
The Grades:
Fit:
A-
This is a comfortable brief with a nicely minimal cut that frees up movement. The stretch in all the materials makes for a comfortable fit that is very effortless. The pouch design is fairly aggressive and might not be everyone's cup of tea but if you like some extra room and don't need or desire extra lift or shaping then this brief will fit the bill.

Design:

I really enjoy the ongoing design refinements that Obviously is putting into their underwear lines and the updated waistband, colors and graphic treatment make for an eye-catching combination.
Material:
A
The fabric is a tad thinner than I would normally like but otherwise the comfort from micromodal is hard to beat and I would give this an excellent score for stretch, durability and softness.
Construction:
A
Construction on this brief was excellent with incredibly precise edges on the fabric cuts and very clean stitching without any loose threads.
Overall Grade:
A
This was a good follow-up to the Obviously Sport Brief review as you can see the ongoing improvement in quality and design that Obviously Underwear is investing in their underwear. My overall grade is a solid "A" to Obviously Underwear for firing on all cylinders with this brief.
Would I buy another pair? I generally like a more supportive and lifting pouch design but I would still consider another pair of Obviously Underwear briefs for the excellent fabric, comfortable fit and manufacturing standards.
