I recently published a review of the Obviously Underwear Sinuous Low Rise Brief and I thought I'd follow-up with a review of the jockstrap from the same line. The Sinuous line is Obviously Underwear's latest release that introduces new colors and design elements to their previously released lineup of cuts including a trunk, brief, thong and jock. The waistband is new for this range with a microfiber elastic composition that is soft on both sides and has the perfect amount of stretch and tension so it's neither too loose to fall down or too tight to cause any digging in on your sides. The waistband measures a substantial 1 1/2" tall and includes a black 1/4" strip along the top with "Obviously" logo text repeated all the way around. I have been impressed with the very clean and low-profile seam that Obviously has engineered on their waistband which leaves almost no discernable "bump" in the back. There are no tags in the Sinuous collection, only a flat, heat-sealed flexible plastic patch that measures 1 1/8" wide by 7/8" tall.

The straps on this jock are unique in that they are like a smaller version of the waistband, made from the same material and with the same black accent stripe and Obviously logos. The leg straps measure 3/4" wide which seems to be just the right width for a comfortable and secure fit. Turning around to the front of this jock you'll find the famous pouch design by Obviously underwear which is manufactured from a highly stretchable and soft micro modal. The fabric is thin, and thus reveals outlines but the color options in the Sinuous range tend to mitigate some of that exposure. The Sinuous colors include a medium brown, a bright lime green and this turquoise color. The Sinuous name comes from the abstract tattoo-like graphic on the front pouch which is a silk-screened white flexible ink. Since its inception, the fabric for Obviously underwear has been a premium micro modal lycra blend. The fabric is very soft and highly stretchable with a light weight.

The pouch design for Obviously underwear is quite extreme with a lot of room available up front in the deep scoop shape. This pouch does not lift or provide very much shaping so those of you that like a little more support may find a better alternative with Gigo or Unico. The Obviously pouch design is a little like a"sock" that shapes around your package. Overall sizing for Obviously underwear seems to run true-to-size as I have yet to have any problems wearing their items in my usual medium.

The Grades:

Fit:	A-	I found this jock to be a very comfortable wearing experience with very good proportions cut on the waistband and straps. I think I would prefer just a bit more lift and shaping from the front pouch but that's a minor preference and otherwise I'd say this is an excellent jockstrap option.	Pouch Fit
Design:	A+	The new design elements added in the sinuous collection are what really put this jock into the high score category with the great range of colors, the fun abstract artwork and the eye-catching straps. All the design elements work well with each other and seem appropriately balanced.
Material:	A	It's pretty hard to go wrong with micro modal fabric. I might have liked a little more thickness to the material but otherwise it's a great choice for every-day underwear.
Construction:	A-	For the most part, this jockstrap was constructed well with clean seams and no loose threads. The only thing that brings this score just a bit down from perfect is the edges of the fabric in the pouch that were a little crooked here and there which I think could have been a bit cleaner.
Overall Grade:	A	This jock succeeds across the scoring categories in my experience and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a fashion jock with some extra room up front.
Would I buy another pair? Although I like more lifting and supportive pouches for jockstraps as a general rule, I would still be interested in picking up another Obviously Underwear Sinuous Jock.
