I bought 2 of these, one red and one blue, and my valuation after 4 or 5 wears of both is "mehhh." They are both mediums, but the blue appears to have lost its shape, it has stretched in an odd way, and I find myself having to deal with an alarmingly loose strap at times and the "spillage" and loss of support that comes with it. The red has kept its shape and size. Very strange. Based on the red, I might buy another; on the blue? no chance. Overall, not a garment I'll be buying again, mainly due to this inconsistency. Oh yes, definitely size down... I'm a 35 waist, and normally wear a large in other brands: it's annoying that I'm having problems with slack in a medium.

Maybe you can add "ES Collection" in the 'padded' section. They have a padded line called 'pack-up', which is also available in swimwear (nice for those of us that like wearing a speedo but dislike shrinkage in cold water :) )

I wear the JM Skinz Thong under running tights. It's well made, durable, provides good support with a nice smooth shape. My only complaint is the thick center seam in the front shows through my tights. I would prefer a seamless pouch if that is possible and still have the same fit and support.

I also wear medium, and since this didn't fit you very well, I'm not sure if I should risk going with a small.
I think I'll pass on this.
Thanks for the review!

Got the hipsters and they look good on me, however the sizing is small i believe. My package does not fit in the cup and gets kinda squished from below (maybe the "tugging" feeling in the review?) while lifting it out so much that the already low rise waistband pulled down to the top of my shaft so that my pubes are showing if i hadn't trimmed. I should have ordered a size up, but these were large and I am a medium to large size.

I actually love these underwear and miss them dearly. When I see them for sale I quickly buy them up. My favorite kind of underwear. Since they do not make these anymore, I would like to know of any drawstring underwear that are very similar in style, construction, and made of cotton.

I work in an operating room where we wear scrubs. Arguably, the thong is the best kind of underwear for scrubs wince they dont bunch. Problem is that when you are hoisting patients around on a gurney, your scrub pants can go south a little bit thereby revealing your drawers. For this reason I never wear thongs to work.
When I am working out though I always wear thongs for the simple reason that wearing boxers during intense he exercise is downright uncomfortable.
I prefer HOM thongs. They are built well and last forever. I wish I could wear them to work but the alpha male / homophobe dominated workplace makes me nervou, which is unforunate since my girlfriend wants to buy me more.
